About Spur Coffee Company.

Spur is a family-owned coffee roastery based in Houston. We source high-grade beans, roast them in small batches, and get them to you fresh.

We supply cafes, restaurants, and offices. We run a coffee cart for weddings and private events.

That’s the whole business. Just great coffee, run well.

We’ve been through over thirty countries, most of them places where coffee matters. We’ve also built and run a few businesses along the way.

That’s where we developed our taste for coffee, and our opinions about what most coffee could be doing better. The coffee we were making at home got good enough that we started selling it.

Coffee shouldn’t be complicated. We respect the craft — in fact we’re quite OCD about our coffee. We just don’t think it needs to be a performance.

Coffee is a daily thing. It should be good every morning, not just the mornings you’re impressing someone. It should taste like what it is: a carefully grown crop, roasted by people who know what they’re doing, brewed however you like it best.

In the product: roasted to order, shipped fresh. No stale inventory, no mystery blends.

In the price: fair. We don’t charge you for the story. A good bag of Spur costs less than most specialty coffee because we run a lean operation and we’d rather you come back than squeeze you once.
